The Master-Mind Center

Our mission is to help kids who are either falling behind in class, or already out of school and finding it very difficult to acclimate to the school system.

We found that most in most cases of kids dropping out of yeshiva or school, the student did not have serious learning disabilities.  Rather, at some point in their education (usually early grades like Pre-1A or Elementary), they needed a little extra practice.  Lacking this extra practice, and with the class moving on quickly, the student started falling behind.  Unfortunately, most students do not get the extra help they need at this point, and their challenges are only discovered in later grade levels.

A couple of years later, the student’s skill and knowledge gap grow wider, and now the student doesn’t understand what the teacher is talking about.  He or she might be disruptive in class at this point, and the teacher is talking to the parents about finding another school for the child…  This story is much more common than you think, and most of the time, it is very preventable.

At Master-Mind, our coaches use proven methods that develop:

  1. Reading Skills (Recognition, Verbalization, Fluency, etc.)

  2. Reading Comprehension and Visualization

  3. Focusing, Stamina, and Concentration

Our coaches are trained, supervised, and evaluated by their peers and take advantage of the knowledge and experience of the world’s experts in the fields of reading and learning skill development.  We consider ourselves very fortunate for the opportunity to help our kids have a better experience in school, something that has such a tremendous affect on their lives.

If your child is falling behind in school, or needs to develop better learning skills, please contact us and give us the opportunity to help.

Our first step in helping your child will be an all encompassing evaluation that includes exams of the student’s reading, comprehension, and visualization skills, as well as vision, and a discussion of their diet and behavioral habits.  We often speak with the student’s teachers to gather what they would like to see improved, and often act as intermediary between the parent and teacher, particularly in tense situations where the student’s behavior is disruptive in class.

Following the evaluation, we assign a coach to work one-on-one on a specific development path, tracking progress, and communicating with the parents and teachers.  Coaching sessions range from 1-4 times per week depending on the need and goals set.

Our students success is inspiring.  If your child is falling behind, please don’t wait – sign up on the right to have a Master-Mind coach contact you as soon as possible.
